Breaking News: Two-Vehicle Crash Kills One in Caldwell County
August 15 , 2024Lenoir, North Carolina — August 13, 2024 — According to WBTV 3 and the North Carolina State Highway Patrol, a driver was killed in a two-vehicle Caldwell County crash along Beecher Anderson Road near U.S. Highway 64.
Jeremy Wilson, 45, was identified as the person killed. Troopers said Wilson was driving on the road, did not slow down adequately, and collided with a truck stopped in the northbound lane waiting to make a left turn.
Two passengers in the car were rushed to an area hospital with “non-life-threatening injuries.” The truck driver was also rushed to an area hospital with “non-life-threatening injuries.”
