College Scholarship Opportunities for the Children of North Carolina Injury Victims

At the Ramsay Law Firm, P.A., our Charlotte workers’ compensation attorneys have represented injured North Carolina workers for over 25 years. Our passion for pursuing justice for injured workers has led to a customized scholarship program designed to support children of parents who have sustained a serious injury at work, in an accident, or elsewhere.

The goal is to help reach injury victims when and where they need us most, which is often when they are trying to put their children through school.

We will be awarding a $1,000 scholarship, to be used exclusively for tuition or other education-related expenses, to a student pursuing a college undergraduate or graduate degree anywhere in the state of North Carolina.  Apply Now!

Am I Eligible to Apply for the Ramsay Law Firm Legal Scholarship?

To be eligible for the Ramsay Law Firm Legal Scholarship, students must:

• Hold a minimum 3.0 GPA.
• Be a U.S. Citizen or legal resident who is authorized to work in the country.
• Be a North Carolina resident or be admitted to a school in North Carolina.

Prospective scholarship recipients must submit the following entry requirements no later than May 5th, 2023:

• One-to-two-page essay describing the student’s reason for pursuing college, their current career plans, and the impact that their parent’s injury had on their life.
• Proof of acceptance or attendance from a college.

The $1,000 scholarship award will be made payable directly to the student in the form of a check and is designed to be used for educational expenses only. The scholarship recipient must submit proof of legal U.S. residency, which may include a birth certificate, passport, or permanent resident card prior to the award check being issued.

• Scholarship Submission Start Date: February 1st, 2022
• Scholarship Submission End Date: May 5th, 2023
• Award: $1,000
