Breaking News: Serious Injuries Reported in Multi-Vehicle Crash in Pinebluff
January 18 , 2025Pinebluff, North Carolina — January 18, 2025 — According to the Sand Hill Sentinel,
A multi-vehicle collision in Pinebluff left one person seriously injured and three others, including two infants, hospitalized. The crash occurred at the intersection of U.S. 1 South and Addor Road.
According to authorities, the accident happened when a Honda SUV crossed a southbound tractor-trailer’s path. The impact caused extensive damage to the SUV and fractured one of the tractor-trailer’s rear axles.
Emergency personnel transported a passenger from the SUV to the hospital with serious injuries. Due to inclement weather, air transport was not an option. The SUV’s driver and two infant passengers in the backseat were also taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
The North Carolina Highway Patrol is investigating the cause of the crash. Local emergency responders, including Pinebluff Fire & Rescue, Aberdeen Fire & Rescue, and the Moore County Sheriff’s Department worked together to manage the collision’s aftermath.
As the investigation continues, further details about the incident have not yet been released.
